The Backstory

Sandy Origins

Realise Media originally began on a beach in Seal Rocks, when a then 18 year old with an entrepreneurial mind wanted to start a business. Having recently built a website for his Father's company and enjoyed the experience, he decided he would get into building websites for small businesses.

After some time, Aaron moved to university to study a Bachelor of Business and continued he's work from a college dorm room in between lectures and surfing sessions at iconic Byron Bay. At one stage, he had 5 people working for the company (mostly freelancers working exclusively for Realise) and were working on digital projects for everyone from multi-million dollar publishing companies to family-owned construction companies.

A Change of Direction

In early 2010, Realise Media and a number of it's team members were acquired by Launchpad6, a tech startup in the online video space. The Realise team went to become integral members of the Launchpad6 team and has helped build it into the multi-million dollar company it has become.

New Beginnings

In late 2011, Realise Media invented itself as a digital collective. It is in essence, a collection of young, talented minds who can create brilliant things in the digital space. In their day jobs, they work with some fo the biggest brands in the world, and by night they rent this knowledge & experience to anybody who needs it.
